RE: LAX Questions - Pls Help!

ABC777, take my advice and that of BN747, get a car. Trust us on this one. You and your family will be much happier and it is far more reliable than taking mass transit. There is a reason why everyone in LA has a car and avoid the mass transit system at all costs...

post 134! Yeah guys, the weather was way gnarly last night, but I loved the sky show, just glad that I was on the ground and not up there for once. ATC sure had a job last night with all of this going on. I need to get me a scanner and listen too.

RE: United Airlines 837 - Decieving

LHR - if you have such strong feelings AGAINST UA, why are you looking up their schedule to BKK and scrutinizing it? I am sure you have other options in regards to a...

RE: LAX Questions - Pls Help!

BN747, I was thinking, if they rent a car, maybe they should go up and have lunch at the Brentwood Country Mart, over on 24th(?) and San Vincente? That's really easy to get to, especially if they are going to be in Santa Monica. Otherwise, there is TONS of stuff on the Promenade, to see and to eat. ...

RE: HNL Rarities ...

Ha763, I miss the three holers...when they took away all of the 74-series across our pond to the Coast, I hated it, but learned to tolerate the DC-10 as they were not my favorite a/c at the time. Now I'm sure it's a treat to fly one to the Coast. I would fly <acronym title="Northwest Airlines (USA)"...

ACB777 rent a car and drive up to Santa Monica. You can easily take surface streets up from LAX and avoid the freeways altogether. You will get a great chance to see more of the city taking surface streets anyway. ...

Ha763 I guess I don't see it because i don't go out that early to HNL. If I go, it's later in the morning, but before all of the Japan flights go out. Thanks for the info. I'm going to the <acron...

RE: UA Red Carpet Club

QZ444, if you have a regular travel agent, ask them to ask their UA sales rep. if they may give an "invitation" aka day pass, to them to give to you, but make sure it is valid for an international RCC. They may be able to accomodate this request. Heck...

thanks for the link Bistro! kewl stuff from Ted, I really like it and the product links are catchy and have an "edge" to them. Who would have thought of describing clothing as "threads"? Only a new LCC with an attitude!

Cheers!

RE: What's Your Favorite Commercial Airplane?

It would have to be the UA Classic 747-200's and their DC-10's. I especially loved the original F Class in the nose of the 742 configured for international. I have even flew on their 742 in a domestic two-class config. between <acronym title="Honolulu...
