It seems to me that the traveling public will, actually, be saving time by flying on the SQ A345LeaderShip. According to SQ you will save an average of 1.5 to 2 hours when compared to its current flights.

I would think nonstop. Considering the extra fuel burn for the additional takeoffs. Just a thought.

I agree with you, CitationX. Delta is in no position to purchase/lease any new aircraft. At the moment they need to cut spending drastically. Those of us who follow Deltas' operations are witnessing all three of your scenarios unfold, and have for several months.

I think the best move would be to purchase/lease the 737-700 when the air transport market improves. Delta has plenty of aircraft in the 180+ seat range: 757, 767 and the 777. I think they have already removed it from the database. I clicked on the link only to get a message telling me there is no photo with that I.D.

I have to agree. The first shot would be better without the Concorde tail. The second photo would be great, and is, but the low light and grain make it unusable. Adding some fill and removing some of the noise might help.
