Somehow, not one single joke about Americans is coming to my mind.... Guess that shows how anti-American all of Europe, and especially Germany, is.

Yikes... You folks are so conscientious about flags! Believe it or not, you'll hardly ever see a German flag fly in some citizens yard. Guess it must be because of our famous special history - my lil' country was, say, a bit over-flagged back then.

Germany-U.S. Ties Hit Post-War Low

To all those who are afraid Germany had become anti-American over the crisis in Iraq, I'd like to warmly recommend the reading of this article: <a href="http://www.msnbc.com/news/869902.asp?0cb=-119133692">"Germany-U.S. ties hit post-war low"</a> I find it to be especially fair, balanced and a good ...

VARIG Brasil use LAX as a "fuel stop" before they continue to NRT. For example, flight 8836 will depart GRU at 23:50, arrive at LAX at 07:00 of the following day, take off to NRT at 09:05 and land in Japan at 13:35 two days after it left GRU, crossing that specific line in the Pacific ocean.
