"Soyuz-2.1 a" successfully launched from the new cosmodrome "East"

The third launch from the new Russian cosmodrome "East" (Vostochny) was a success. All 11 satellites are displayed on the intended orbit. The composition of the payload carrier rocket "Soyuz-2.1 a" has brought the two Russian satellite remote sensing of the Earth "Kanopus-V" №3 and №4, as well as nine small satellites: satellites 5 German technological satellite D-Star One and 4 satellite S-NET; and 4 U.S. satellite LEMUR data collection system for the automatic identification of ships. At the time of preparation for the start of the ambient temperature dropped to -35 degrees Celsius (-31 degrees Fahrenheit).

I think the plume is yellow because of the yellow flame of the rocket illuminating it that way.

carbon particles clowing yellow

also note the soot trail in flight.
Natural for a Kerosene LOX setup.
( with the difference being that IMU Saturn was fuel rich while Soyuz burns oxygen rich.)

LH LOX has no carbon nearly invisble blue flame.

If you try to run your Diesel truck or car engine with RP-1 or Jet A-1, it will run but not for long. The high pressure injection pump will give up after a short while.

slightly different distillation fraction and low sulfur content.

some 2stroke oil will help. Diesel engines that allow low sulfur are "fixed" already.

I wonder if the exceptionally cold temperature exacerbates the appearance of the exhaust?
