USAF Sacks F-16 Demo Team Pilot After Two Weeks

Tue Feb 12, 2019 10:14 pm

Reason given is due to "a loss in confidence" from the 20th Fighter Wing's commander. Should be really interesting to see if more details regarding this end up being revealed. A real shame.

Surely not great timing on the Air Force's part.

I doubt the reason will be made public or come to light but I'd like to know what happened here. Having followed Captain Kotnik on social media it really looked like the USAF was going to make something out of her being the Viper demo pilot, especially on the back of Captain Marvel being released.

Given that her flying ability was known by the USAF in advance, I suspect something in her private life.

I note the reference to her making mistakes in the OP.

From my military social network/intelligence sources, that is the word on the street.
