Large fly past

At around 20.30 hrs today, some 30 aircraft flew due East over the island of Jersey. I assume military because no port or starboard lights. No noise either but that could be wind direction. Nothing on flight tracker either. Anyone got ideas who these were, a tad eerie in these times.

Military aircraft have and use their navigation lights unless they are going into combat or flying some super secret mission. I suspect it was helicopters as the New Jersey gov activated the National Guard to aid in the fight against coronavirus and you missed the nav lights somehow.

Oops, Edit: Are you talking about the island in the English Channel? If so, I have no idea.

Can we start with a basic description of aircraft type? WWII props? Helicopters? Transport? Fighters? Cessna's? Give us something to start with.

What elevation?

I guess, most probably wrong.

Could EasyJet be moving their fleet back to the UK? Or perhaps an aircraft lessor moving birds to a certain base.

Sounds like a description of Space X Starlink satellites.
