3D printer for some space stuff
I`ve recently found an interesting article about 3D printer which is used in aerospace area. Have you heard anything about that? This machine allows to print multi-composite parts simultaneously from several materials, which is infeasible in other types of aerospace 3d printing.

Does this machine print the elements of coating for the spacecraft or something more important? I heard about the use of 3d printing in aerospace engineering but never went into details.

I`ve read that this 3d printing technology makes some parts for rocket engines. I`ve never thought that 3d printing couldn't be used for such purposes. However, as I see, the final material is tough enough to be used under such pressure

And what about 3d printing for satellite manufacturing? Can smallsats or CubeSats be made using this technology? I think it would help satellite launchers to reduce production costs and equip their sats with high-quality payloads, such as these CubeSat cameras that can be used for high-resolution remote sensing, Earth observation, and so on.

The third stage for Skyrora XL rocket and found out this rocket engine was made using their additive technology. I was surprised when I`ve read this article about 3D printing technology. Just imagine if in some time we are able to use more advanced 3d printing technology in space exploration.

Smallsat and CubeSat structures usually consist of very simple geometries. You can buy a CubeSat structure for a few thousand dollars, for example https://www.endurosat.com/products/#cubesat-structures. The electronics inside are responsible for most of the cost, especially the initial development and quality control. 3D printing is useful for smaller parts like sensor casings and mountings, mechanisms or shielding.
