Quite difficult to imagine, especially if you consider how intense the air patrolling has been in the area (i.e. the Italian F-35s were pretty busy chasing various Russian planes over the last couple of weeks).

I can imagine, I bet 'they' are extra pissy at the moment after 'chasing off' HMS Defender in the Black Sea only for a Dutch Frigate to come along and Defender docking in Georgia, official receptions, dancing Georgian girls etc.
It is a concern though, what with the coming in transponder off, almost like they want an accident, wasn't MH17 enough?

I think the Dutch frigate incident was staged specifically for a couple of our Dutch members who keep saying the Netherlands has no adversaries, etc.

Meanwhile at a southern NATO QRA, a pilot comments that QRA's can happen at any time, it would be unlikely for Russia to have a schedule.
