And while this could be considered to not be a crash I would say a failed gear is more than a mishap. Of course we don't know that for a fact, do we?
I am still trying to figure out from the picture, what I see. How it got to where it is and what damage/debris is showing to the grass or runway. It almost feels like they landed and "flew" to that spot on the good gear (if a gear failure is accurate) and let the wing touch down there, which I think would have it rotate on the grounded wing tip.

Chumysix a Class A mishap to the USAF is 2.5 mill or more of damage including aircraft destruction. Doesn't matter how or where they break it, only how much it costs.
Does a wingtip in the dirt on a billion dollar aircraft look like more than 2.5 mill?
