Are the AMX and M346 very related? Who knew??

That seems like an interesting example in that
- It delivered what is promised (a light attack plane)
- The partners changed (has that every happened once delivery started?)
- After the Italians/Russias broke apart, they each made their example.
(I don't think that has happened quite like this. The Fremm/Type-45 evolved to be rather different, as did Eurofighter/Rafale).
