KC-135R USAF Tanker circling NYC

A KS-135R tanker has been over flying NYC for the last 2 days. NICE32 currently on FR24.

The UN General Assembly opening sessions are this week. They often have fighter cover and tanker support during the week.

Someone busted the TFR for the UN General Assembly today: https://www.foxnews.com/us/f16-nyc-rest ... l-assembly

Surely enough, I was in White Plains (north of NYC) at the time and heard a fast jet fly overhead towards the Hudson River. Fighter was probably being supported by the tanker to provide security/enforce the TFR.

And a quick comment (too late to edit) but the aircraft that busted the TFR seems to have an "Army" callsign.
