New York City
This is the best city in the world. New York has absoutely EVERYTHING you could ever want. Probably the best nightlife in the world, best diversity, incredible women, amazing public transportation system, awesome airports...you name it, this city has it all. I just love the essence of New York. It is THE major city of the world. The UN is located there for good reason. The culture, the vibarance, the list just goes on. There's life on every corner. New York isn't America, it's New York and there's only one New York. It's amazing because one moment you think you're in Greece, the next in Korea, well you get the idea... I was on the N-train platform a month ago and I was looking at the buildings and it totally reminded me of Europe, especially Athens. New York is more of a European city than an American one. It's a very liberal city and it's tailor made for me. I'm trying desperately to move there. My only gripes are the weather and the cost of living. The weather can get muggy, but it beats the hell out of the weather in Canada. And it's sooooo expensive to live there. I just wonder how people survive with those outrageous rents! Still, I think it's well worth it for what the city offers. New York is the only city I could live in and be happy...or maybe Rio de Janeiro.
My hometown, though I don't live there anymore. It has such history and it is the Nation's capital, which speaks for itself. I think it's the best city in America for museums. Too bad Marion Berry messed things up.
I like Chicago. It's sort of like a mini version of New York. Lots of diversity, culture, outdoor activities, an awesome airport and excellent public transportation. I've never been there in the winter, though, which I hear can be miserable.
The weather speaks for itself.
Never been there, but would love to go. I hear varying stories about it, but I think I'd like it. Only problem is you need to drive everywhere and I hate driving.
