Hey Lindy, did you go and get drunk afterwards to celebrate just like all the commercial pilots do??

(Just kidding pilots. I know that's an absolutely false stereotype.... right???  )

I can remember my first landing in a Cherokee 140. At Renton, most light aircraft can take this one exit off the runway, that is if they land like they are supposed to. I flared for so long, that I completly missed it, even with heavy breaking. You could tell my FI was upset, and embarassed. So we had to take the next exit, about at the end of the runway, and taxi all the way back to a bunch of laughing students. Oh well, I can outfly all of them now.

Just a little reminder to make you feel better about your first landing:

Real pilots don't laugh at others because they blow a landing.
