OOOH I absolutely LoVE the Shelby Cobra.... My dad has a TOTALLY original 1966 427AC Cobra.. it's red, never been hit, and the engine's never been outa it.. it doesn't have side pipes or anything... the serial # is CSX 3282, i think.... yeah.. i'llt ry 2 get a pic of it to post up on here.. it's a sweeeetish ride

Here's what brought it up: yesterday, at the kick-off event for a charity foundation (held at Texas Notor Speedway, benefiting Alzheimers research), I had the opportunity to ride in a genuine Shelby Cobra for several hot-laps around the road caurse, being driven by Bob Bondurant.
This, my dear cyber-friends, did not suck.
Also, got to meet Carroll Shelby himself, good fun!
