Terror In 72 Hours

Tue Oct 30, 2001 11:19 pm

John Ashcroft announced that there will be a terrorist attack in the United States within 1 week and we are on high alert until 72 hours from now. We don't know when or how this is going to happen. I am like pissing my pants.

Hope you have some diapers.

They've been saying that every single week since the attacks. Mostly as disclaimer if something should really happen, so they don't look like fools anymore....

I think that it is to show the terrorists that we know about them so that we can scare them and so they will back off.

I only remember this one other time. Nothing happened, but they said they may have backed out of an attack due to the warning. I don't like hearing this now considering I'm flying out of LAX in a few hours. Oh well. Carry on my life. I think I'll have the pretzels!

Let's get our news straight, ok? John Ashcroft did NOT say there was GOING to be a terrorist attack this week. The goverment issued a statement for Americans to be on the lookout fo POSSIBLE terrorist activity this week.

It's bad enough the networks are hysterical, let's not do the same on here.

So what?
We have always been a target!
Ashcroft isn't telling us anything new, unless of course they are planning on staging an attack.

Our fellow A.net user MD-90 is an expert on predicting the future anyway. So if MD-90 isn't saying anything, I ain't buying it! Big grin

"We don't know when or how this is going to happen. I am like pissing my pants."

That is probably the whole point. Who knows if there is really going to be an attack or not, a threat like this causes almost as much terror as the real thing.

Sound like an Airbus380 statement for sure! Really now, why live in fear? dont stress that stuff and you will do fine. As long as your right with god you have nothing to worry about! Does anyone actually think an airplane is gonna be a target for a hijacking again? i really think that is not going to even be a consideration now! well live your life as you would and dont be pissin in them pants any more junior! no wonder the girlies are flocking to ya!

Cheers!
