Aussie Election - Who Are You Prepared To Vote For

Wed Nov 07, 2001 4:03 pm

Dear Australia,

In the upcoming election on November the 10th, I was wondering who you are strongly leaning towards.

As this is a private matter and I am just gathering some information, there is no need to reveal if you dont wish. But overall, who would be a better PM.

VOTE 1 - John Howard

Regards

for my local member I have the choice of:

1) labor (dont know his name but he does a good job and hes currently in power)

2) My very own lawyer (although hes done well by me he didnt win local support last vote to get himself in power)

I think most importantly it comes down to who is going to make beer cheaper.

If any Australian political leaders are reading please post your parties policy on beer tax.

best regards,

Hey guys,

Being a swinging voter (the most despised by politicians) I have to say that this time round I will not be voting for John Howard. It's partially to do with his policies and one of his side kicks "John the moron Anderson" that helped in the destruction of my favourite airline.

They are still treating the AN problem like a political football - ignoring the knock down effect it has had accross the country, particularly regional Australia and our tourism industry.

Short term thinkers for short term wankers.

And no, I don't like any politicians. It all about voting the lesser of two evils.

Definitely voting Democrat in the Senate for a few reasons:

* They are the only major party which is quite vocal on gay rights and issues
* Natasha-Stott Despoja is one fine fag-hag
* Their ability to keep the bastards honest!

Probably vote Labor in HoR, or maybe independent.

I will probably voting for John Howard, I wouldn't like to have Kim Beazley as prime minister.
This could change depending on who is in our electorate, so I will probably grab all those how to vote cards and see what they say. Also voting for 1 above the line probably for democrate, instead of the million of choices below the line.
I am waiting for online voting. Bring it on let Australia become one of the first to introduce it.
Also can't belive that they don't ask for ID when you vote.

They had electronic voting in the recent ACT election. I can't wait to use it either, one year one of the ballot papers was about 2 metres long!

Yeah, I think they should ask for ID too.

EGGD,

Dont we have to find Harold Holt before we can vote for him?

Me, I'm voting for SHANE WARNE and DAVID BOON

Yah!

As for electronic voting, you do realise that it's being challenged in the ACT courts for validity .... all because of some sore loser.

I am not swinging.
I have asked everybody to vote for John Howard - he is a great Prime Minister with more experience on his hands.
Give Kim the boot.

Sure John cops a lot, but what do you expect? Every prime minister does something wrong.
Vote 1 - John Howard
