Cities That Make Good 1st Names

Tue Nov 27, 2001 11:51 am

Remember, just cities and first names...

Texas has a few...

Austin
Dallas
Houston

Then we have
Madison (Wisconsin)

Charlotte (North Carolina)

Orlando (Florida)

Anymore?

All of a sudden I feel like breaking into my dollar bill stash and heading to the strip club. Bet I won't see Matt D there!  Big grin

personally i'm sick of geographic names: Cody, Cheyenne, Brooklyn, Dakota, Montana, and the above-mentioned as well. Hell, I wouldn't saddle my pets with stupid names like that, much less a person. They used to name places after people, not the other way around.

I have to agree with your statement Boeing757Fan. I'd be changing my name as soon as I was of legal age if I had one of those names.

Kenner is Right Outside of New Orleans, LA

Kenner is actually the city that MSY is in, not New Orleans although they call it New Orleans Armstrong Field.

Boeing, you crack me up! This has got to be a thread topic that originated in way too much cough syrup or controlled substance! Nice going....

How about?

Acme?
Yuba?
Grawn?
Mesick!

Gaylord! (Would you do that to a poor kid?)

Just getting some ideas for child IF we have another...

Not really considering a name of a city, but, I do like Jackson.

Its got to be a different name also... I hate names like Bob. They were ok back in the day, just not my types of names for today.

1 in Colombia, Malawi, Albania, Croatia, Bolivia, Slovakia
3 citys in UK and in Spain
2 citys in Sierra Leone
6 citys in Haiti
24 citys in the USA (will probably mostly be villages...)
1 river in Canada
Martin Islands in Canada and
Martin Lake in Alabama

Martin

Fan;
I don't think Lubcha understood the question. Your true reason for this thread wasn't specified, initialy. In Lubcha's defense, those names are legitimate city names. However, it's apparent they don't apply to what you intended.
I agree - Bob isn't a name for today. It's great if you're dyslexcic... you'll still spell it correctly.
I'm thinking of a dude who hosted a show on SpeedVision - The world of speed and beauty. His name was Dallas Raines.
Guess you're looking for both male and female suggestions?

I used to know some dude named London. He was married to a girl named Bristol (never met her). But they were both originally from Kenosha (Wisconsin). Huh?!  Wow!

What about Blueballs, PA? "Hi everybody, my name is Blueballs. Nice to meet you all!"

Isn't Tokyo Joe's a club in London over by Green Park. I thought I walked by a "Tokyo Joe's" in that area.
