NWA742, I see you have good taste. The TrailBlazer is a nice car. It's comfortable, yet powerful and well constructed IMO. Fuel economy isn't that great, though.
KEWR: Congratulations on your new toy! I've never driven a VW Passat, but the Europeans have for years made the finest cars in the world and the Americans are still trying to catch up. I hope you get many years of good use out of your new car.

Ugly or not, it goes on sale in the US this fall under Toyota's new "Scion" brand name. It looks like a shoe box.

haha, yes-- I couldn't put my finger on it, but it is like a mix of a school bus, a Chevy Astro van, and a family-size rice rocket.

My parents have 2002 Astro, I've driven it a few times, it's a nice midsize van, and it looks nice too.

Ours was a 1991, and it doesn't look so good in burgundy and gold.

I like how Chevy makes the Astro much more of a truck than a car. Most van makers nowadays make vans as much like cars as they can, and I don't like it.

Congrats on the Passat. I'm the proud owner of a 2000 Passat GLS thats begging to get an upgraded ECU. They're great cars, really fun to drive.

eeesh that toyota is ugly.
Another beast is the Pontiac Aztek. Aside from their trucks and the Camaro and vette, I don't like what GM has been putting out lately. Just garbage.

I agree-- I don't know what is going on at GM, but they can't seem to put out any good new cars. They're so ugly that I don't even want to look at them.
