Simpsons, Where Are You!

Mon Oct 28, 2002 8:03 am

I love baseball and all, but has anyone else been going through a Simpsons withdrawl since the playoffs have started? There's just something about that show...

Dont you guys have the Simpsons reruns daily or twice daily (as it is here in DFW) on the WB or Pax or some local non-affiliated station?

We have 5 Simpsons on Sky One (or is it 4?), and one on BBC2 every weekday, and about the same every weekend.

Marvellous.

Yup, Nov 3, and if I remember correctly it's going to be the Halloween special (my personal favorites). At any rate, will be plunked in front of the TV for that!

Yes we need those Simpsons back. I am glad the new season is starting this weekend!!  Big thumbs up I watch them everyday on the Local FOX station. Here in Chicago we get them twice a day, at 5pm and 10pm, they used to be on three times a day 5pm, 6pm, and 10pm.

It really does suck that baseball preempts the regular FOX season... which isn't all that great anyways. Though it seems odd that the Halloween special isn't played this Thursday instead... would really be more appropriate.

I get Simpsons twice daily, at 5:30 and 6:00pm (right after King of the Hill) on the local FOX affiliate in Richmond.

In Dallas we get The Simpsons 3 times a day on the weekdays, twice on the WB, and once on some local non-affiliated station.

Here in DC area and MD we get Simpsons twice a day. Fox 5 5PM to 6PM.
King of the Hill was banned from TV before midnight so I have to watch two episodes of it at 12am and 12:30am.

King of the Hill is a horrible show. Here in Colorado they need to go back to the simpsons being on twice in a row instead of 2 episodes with King of the Hill in the middle!

The Simpsons is one of the best shows ever but I'd get bored of it if it was on about 4 times a day.

The new ones on BBC2 aren't very good.

Here in Phoenix the Simpsons are on twice per weekday. Once at 9 o'clock and again at 10 o'clock. The problem is that at 9:30 they have "Just Shoot Me". It really wish that they had two simpsons IN A ROW so I wouldnt have to sit through 30 minutes of David Spade whining until I can get my second Simpsons fix.

Oh well.

Dinker,

I couldn't agree any more! King Of the Hill is a lousy show. All it is is a story about a little fat rolly Boy who is in love with a preteen girl, and then you have pathetic characters like rednecks who drink beer.... HOW LAME!

Simpsons is sooo much better. Were talking about a bad boy who is in forth grade who is always doing pranks. A sis who is a brain child who teams up with her bro to solve problems in to most creative ways and then a father figure who is really only a kid who drinks beer. And the TV and baby and dog and cat. Not to metnion the countless other character which provide unique flavors to the show: Ralph Wiggum, Mr Burns, heck, there are hundreds....
King Of the Hill is simply another lousy family drama that presents the issues that face most of todays families. Isn't every other primetime sitcom show on TV like that: Raymond, Fraiser, home improvemnt, the list is endless. The simpsons gives a representation of Life with a witty unique flavor of humor...
