The "Cadbury Creme Egg"!

Thu Feb 20, 2003 12:27 pm

Have YOU ever sunk your teeth into a Cadbury Creme Egg?

Personally, I think they're excellent. I love the way they come in seperate little wrappings so it's not overwhelming but at the same time enough chocolate (and filling) to satisfy your need. Also the fact that it's available during easter makes it more of a treat. Today, I had the Cadbury Caramel Egg and was pleasantly surprised with that as well. It's like a Caramello Egg!

Ahh  Smile What do you guys think? Love? Hate?

They are pretty cool. Not exactly nutritionally balanced, but they make a decent treat.

The very sight of those things sickens me. They are FAR too sweet. I prefer the Mini-Eggs, just nice chocolate covered in the sugary shell. Big grin

THat creme I thought was a bt nasty. I think the connotations did it for me. Ranks right up there with Chewels (Or, as some sorority ladies call it, Cumgum).

the mini eggs are the shizzle my nizzle.

Talk about a blast from the guys in America getting those ads too?

Another classic was the Cadbury's Crunchie chocolate bar aka "I'm so excited...I just can't hide it"

Ahhh....Easter is in the Air....

My Favorite....Cadbury Eggs...Not the creme filled, but the little eggs that have a sugar shell and are solid chocolate. Better than Dove Chocolates...  Nuts

Creme eggs are ok, but the filling can get all over you if your not carefull Big grin

Haven't had one in years but way to rich and sweet from what I remember... probably dumped out about 75% of the inner cream and ate the outside chocolate.

It frightens me to think of what the actual ingredients are... probably a lot of artificial crap.

I notice that the imported UK caramel creme eggs are about 200 times better than the American version...mmm..can't wait to get ahold of all the European easter chocolate when I go in April Big grin I think I'm going to go eat my UK Cadburry Caramel bar right now...

I can buy about a dozen different kinds of British candy at our local grocer, which has a specialty section of imported British foods. I think UK chocolate tastes better... although 2.59 US for a candy bar is a little steep.

The Creme Eggs totally rule!!!!!!!!! I've yet to get any of the UK versions, but some of the Cadbury candy bars from the UK are fanfreakingtastic; there's a shop in town that specializes in UK and Irish goods, and that where I go to take care of my meat pie cravings, and to get some Prawn flavored Crisps.
