Talk About A Second Birthday

Thu May 08, 2003 8:11 am

Take a look at these pictures:

One of the most horrible crashs I've ever seen. Yet, as unbelievable as it seems, the driver survived with several head injuries. Ironically, he was a 20 years old volunteer firefighter who was on his way to his base because of a big fire. He crashed into a military airbase btw, before he hit the house he broke through the fence.

This should remind us how vulnerable we are. This guy will surely celebrate his second birthday on the 4th May in the future. I still can't believe he made it.

BTW, I wonder how in hell he got his hands on this car.

Let's see here. A 20 year old in a 5 series (is that really what it was?) gets into an accident.

That boy may just learn to drive one day. OK, I'll grant that I have no idea what the extenuation circumstance may have been, but since the original post implied a personal knowledge, and did not mention same, I must presume that it's just another case of a child crashing his car due to his own stupidity. Firefighters, volunteer or not, are to be truly admired but that does not excuse them form the human ability to be an idiot when driving.
The day you stop learning is the day you should die.
