Check out this online store. It looks like they stock all kinds of Aussie goodies, including Tim Tams and Vegamite. Hmmm... tempting to order some (Tim Tams).

There is also Everything Australian which is also US based.

Vegamite should be classified as a WMD

Hello,

A.net's resident American Tim-Tam expert speaking here...Mirrodie...there are a few places you can buy them online, notably Arnotts.com (the manufacturer, they have the best prices but you have to buy 6 or 12 packages depending on flavor), Ive also seen them on a few other online stores at ludicrous prices (ie, $4-6 US per package of 11 Tim-Tams, in Australia they are sold for the equivlent of $1 per package of 11)...there is also a store in London that sells them off the shelf, if you ever go back over there, it was about $3 US per package...

I really think they ought to be introduced in the US, I think they'd be a phenomenal hit here...

TIM-TAMS FOREVER!!!!!!!!!

I may check out Arnott's. THanks Greg!
Actually Greg, word has it that they DID come to the West Coast in 2000 or 2001 but under a different name. Is that true? look into it!

Dublin is a bit of a hike for me.

They probably will (and they'll probably have to) as Arnotts is owned by the US Campbells food group (and as they are suing Dick Smith over the use of the name Temptims true blue Australians won't be eating Tim Tams anymore ...)

Mirrodie...

I cant really say to that...Ive never heard that before but that doesnt mean much...I used to hear something about Pepperidge Farm or something like that making a US knockoff of the Tim-Tam, havent heard anything about it in a while though...

Tim Tams are available here in South Africa from the local supermarket. Priced at around US$1.35 they aren't too expensive and are really delicious. Having said that I try not to buy them, because if I eat one, I usually ended up eating the whole packet!

For your information Tim Tams are Australia’s favourite chocolate biscuit. Around 30 million packs are sold each year - that’s nearly 300 million biscuits, or two packs for every Australian.

There are eight delicious varieties of Tim Tams: Original, Chewy Caramel, Mocha, Double Coat and Classic Dark Chocolate, Special Edition Tim Tam Hazelnut, Limited Edition White Chocolate and new Special Edition Chewy Choc Fudge.

Highly doubt it Bob...they arent sold in British supermarkets so I doubt you'd find it in a British food aisle...

Nothing like having VEGIMITE on your toast of a morning the lovely yeast flavour really get the taste buds going for the day. But us Aussies are bought up on it and is a very acquired tatse. I love it
