You guys need some new material. Those posts are stupid and annoying. And they're not even funny. It was kind of funny the first few times I saw them, but its really old now.

It's tired, let it go.

Im inclined to agree somewhat with the original post...I think they are funny (most of the time) but they are definitely old and overused...on quite a few times Ive seen an interesting thread that I wanted to reply to but was turned away as the replies were completely dominated by the "signed by" posts...

Sorry, couldnt resist. But the thing is that I dont think its a big deal. Sometimes they are funny, and when AA61hvy makes them, they're NOT funny. I just take the good with the bad and dont care about the ones that suck. Because even if it was one out of a hundred, that one that IS funny, is WELL worth all the slightly annoying ones.

This post isn't enough to make me stop doing it. Like you saw in the beginning of this very post, it only encourages me.

I understand that its a little inside joke that about 10 of you have going, and thats cool. But it's not funny. Something isn't funny when you can see it coming a mile away. For example if you see a topic like this:

"Bush Backs Law to Ban Gay Marriage"

You know about half the posts look like this:

"My boyfriend KROC and I want to ban Bush.

I cnat say that what I would use on stage is the same as what I write here, but evne so, maybe you wouldn't like my kind of humor. Like I already said, if you dont think something's funny, but its no offensive, I dont see how you can get so riled up about it. It's easy to ignore.

On the non-av boards, I jsut like to have fun and goof. I'm not here to be the most msature, or to impress, or even make friends necessarily. I like to have fun. Dont want to have my kind of fun? Dont. But youre not going to mess up my party no matter how much you complain.

Look at me! I'm a pathetic imbecile whose idea of humor is compiling a short list of derogative comments (virtually limited to alluding to ones homosexuality) in first person, followed by the words "Signed," and another user's name. This makes me feel like I'm part of the "in crowd" (which I could never be in real life), and quite frankly is the most worthy way to spend my time. As an added bonus, the inconvenience and displeasure I cause my fellow a.net members on a regular basis provides me with a rush of simple, shallow emotions, much like the ones experienced by a run-of-the-mill vandal. Am I the cleverest jerk that ever lived or what? I rock! Woo hoo!

I think it's funny when people's signed-by posts blow up in their own faces. An example being 98% of AA61Hvy's posts. Then of course KROC comes along and makes light of his inability to be funny and that's always good for a chuckle.

Cause they'll keep p!ssing and moaning until Johan makes a new rule of "no signed by... posts". Just like when some were b!tching about the quality of the non-av forum, it being shut down and the aforementioned b!tchers gloating about how they're glad it's gone and it didn't belong here in the first place, and being first in line to post when it's opened back up.

Unfortunately, JetService, it's kinda how things work around here. A few people complain enough and they might just get their way. After all, if it's not funny to them, it shouldn't be funny to us.

There was no humor involved in your post, and if you try and tell us otherwise, you will do nothing but insult everyone's intelligence.
