The officiating in the NC State/Ohio State game was absolutely atrocious, both ways. The ACC crew was embarrassing.

And Purdue upends #21 Wake Forest-which validates Bowling Green a little more  Big thumbs up

Ok, guys, Wake Forest had a 4th and 1, with less then 1:30 to go, inside the Purdue 25 yard line. What call do you make on a 4th and one? If you run, you should be under center, right?

But nooooooo. Coaches seem to get mental farts at the worst time. They go into the shotgun, and from 7 yards back, try a draw play-ON 4TH AND 1!!!! Game, set, match Purdue. What an assinine call to blow the game for your team.

Well, Great news!!! Ohio State just beat NC State. But my other prediction is not looking so well, looks like Michigan is gonna have an easy time beating the Irish.

Ok, guys. Let's get into the mind of ANOTHER coach, who made a stupid call.

NC State has 1st and goal on the 4, in the 3rd Overtime against Ohio State. Ohio State has just scored a TD, but missed the 2-point conversion to take a 44-38 lead. Your QB, Heisman Candidate David Rivers, has been just killing Ohio State throwing through the air-he's completed like 13 straight passes. So, you would think the Wolfpack would go with what brung them to the dance-pass the ball.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! On first down, they have an empty backfield, and FIVE wideouts to the left side! I called this one when they lined up-DRAW PLAY! One yard. They throw on second down-incomplete.

On third down, at the 3 or so, they line up in the same formation they lined up in on first down!!! ANOTHER DRAW PLAY!!! They get 1 more yard! I called THAT play before it was snapped (my dad is my witness.  Smile )

Now, on fourth down and goal from the two-with the defending national champs on the ropes, you'd think they'd learned their lesson, right? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

They line up with 4 wideouts to the left side (they're on the right hashmark), an with a single back in the I formation. Ohio State calls timeout. I told my dad that if they stay in that formation, they'll run a sweep to the left, jam all those WR's to the right to block, and try to sweep it in. But when OSU called time out, you think NC State would change the play, right. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

The come out in the SAME FORMATION!! To ANYONE who has watched football, there is no doubt that with such a cockeyed formation, that the only thing they can run is a sweep to the left! The run it, and just as the RB looks like he's going to get into the endzone, Ohio State DB Will Allen lays a shoulder into him, and the RB's but hits the ground at the half yard line. Game, set, match, Ohio State.

Maybe this coach should converse with Wake Forests', to see if they can togehter figure out that YOU DO WITH WHAT GOT YOU THERE!!

Nice to see Michigan rolling the candleburners.

The offensive coordinator at NCST needs to get fired. QB sneaks on first and third down in the 3rd overtime is lame, and doesn't show confidence in Rivers to get the job done.

KROC, I was going to put "Luckeyes" in a post, but I forgot.

Maybe, just maybe, KROC, they get taken down next week, when I'm there?  Big grin

And I'm no fan of Meechigan, but anyone who kicks Notre Dame's ass all up and down the field is fine by me.  Big thumbs up

Oh and congratulations to the now former #14 Wisconsin getting beat by UNLV. That takes some real talent, you might as well be beat by Prarie View A&M, UNLV is like a Div. I-AA program. Not only did Wussconsin get beat, they got beat 23-5. If I was the NCAA I would slap some sanctions on Wussconsin for that loss....

I cant wait for Baylor-SMU....I dont even know if a winner can even come out of that game. Is it possible for there to be two losers in a football game?

I was at the UMICH vs. Notre Dame game today... I couldn't figure out if Notre Dame was playing or if they were watching..

Fun game nevertheless. We set a new record...most people ever in history in that stadium. Well over 111,000 people!

SIU WHOPPED MSU!!!!

SIU is Southern Illinois University
MSU is Murray State UNiveristy-Kentucky

the score wa slike in the 40's for us and all MSU got was one lousy touchdown(7 points) and that was lucky because they got that cause we fumbled right near there touch down field.

Georgia Tech came oh-so-close to beating #10 FSU on the road tonight.

For the first time in history, FSU was held without a single first down in the entire first half at Doak Campbell stadium. GT led 13-0 all the way into the last 10 minutes, but then the 'Noles managed to sneak out a 14-13 win.

Yet another heartbreaking game for GaTech versus FSU.  Sad

I didn't see anything subpar about FSU's performance tonight. They played their best but the GT defense was absolutely unbelievable for the first 30 minutes of the game and still top quality for the next 23 minutes. Alas, its a 60 minute game and so FSU won.

It ain't easy to go into Tallahassee and play FSU close, let alone almost win. I religiously made that roadtrip from Atlanta every time we played on the road and always came back with a broken heart. Thats why this loss hurts so much more... we were the better team of two fantastic units on the day. So close and yet so far.

I think another record (of sorts) was set at the Michigan game...announcer said that it was the first time Michigan had skunked the Irish in 101 years.
It's one of the oldest college rivalries in the US. I was very safe giving 14 points. People are talking #23 Perry and The Heismann already..Jack
