whats your favorite alcoholic drink? beer, vodka, wiskie, etc...
My personal favorite would either be Bacardi Silver or a Corona with a lime in it.

campari orange
scotch 'n soda (particularly the glenlivet, age 12)
grand marnier liquer - neat
tres generaciones tequila - straight
jack daniels 'n coke

Beer... plain and simple. Not a super big fan of mixed drinks.

Bailey's Irish Cream is the only exception.

Moylans Imperial Stout
San Quentin Breakout Sout
Old Russian Rasputan Imperial Stout
Anchor Steam Porter

Wine:
Any decent Merlot will do

vodka of any kind, usually straight up. when it comes to beers, i drink brooklyn brewery and heineken.

In no particular order....

Vodka Tonic, with Redbull, with grape juice.
Smirnoff Ice.
Mojitos (cuban rum, sugar and I think mint leaves).
Beer.

Beer when the weather is hot, or arriving at hotel or home after a flight...
Red wine with dinner, Cabernet or Merlot types, about 2 glasses...
A few times a year, after dinner - Cognac, Armagnac, Calvados, Gd Marnier liquors...
Vodka or whisky goes in my car radiator, as antifreeze for winter...
Nothing much to say about liquors...
Love some from South America, Brazil or Peru, but few here know about...

Well, not being a big fan of all that cocktail stuff, I`ll take a simple freshly tapped german beer over anything else most of the times.

Also, when I´m relaxing in the afternoon sun, a bavarian Hefeweizen almost beats it all.
And, of course, a good dinner should be accompanied by a decent wine (I prefer german Rheingauer Riesling, californian Chardonnay and french Bordeaux wine).

First, wine. Then wine. And always wine.

Beer in the summer time, once in a while. Digestive also once in a time (Cognac, Grappa, Grand Marnier, Prunelle de Bourgogne, Scotch, etc.).

I don't understand all the hype about vodka; by nature, vodka is tasteless. Which is why it is always "spiced" with other flavors (cherry, lemon, orange juice, etc.).
Never let the facts get in the way of a good theory.

Beer, liquor, wine...it doesn't matter, if it's in front of me, I'll drink it. I drink beer and liquor 95% of the time.

Among my favorites are:

-Souza or Jose Cuervo tequila with orange juice
-Whiskey and Ginger Ale
-My staple beer is Miller Lite

While I will drink Vodka, I really don't like it.

Single Malt Whiskey (or Whisky - I know there's a difference depending on whether or not it's Scotch or Irish, but I can't remember what's what.)
Beer.
Can't tell the difference between good expensive vodka and cheap vodka, personally.

Ooooh no! I can tell a difference between skunky vodka and good stuff in a heart beat.

I bought skunky vodka to learn how to make martinis and it ruined everything I made! I couldnt figure out what I was doing wrong until I got a bottle of Kettle One. Problem solved.  Smile
