What are you judging as "good" or even "typical"?
And what's the use of asking the opinions of others, if you like it what value do you expect from another's opinion? One hates it (that word should be banned) and another loves it (another word that needs re-evaluation). To hell with them all.

Hell yeah its a good song. Linkin Park is one of my favorite Bands and probably 2 of the best albums I have ever purchased. As a matter of fact..since you had to mention that song....I just had to listen to it myself.

Here I'll throw in a bias: I like Linkin Park and I hope that whoever they are signed to doesn't not milk them this time, there are about 3 other real good songs on their 3rd album that seem like "singles"
I like "Lying from you", "Somewhere I belong", "Don't Stay","From the Inside"
Don't know about "Numb" though, it took me a while to like "papercut" which turned out to be great.

Faint is one of their better songs, my favorite is "pushing me away" reanimation tho.

So, we're not allowed to have an opinion now?

Of course you are. If it's different from mine, you're wrong - but you're still allowed to be wrong. When will you learn *sigh*

I like their song "numb" better, but "faint" is a good one too.

Sounds good to me, and I don't really listen to that kind of music.
I like Nobody's Listening too.

I have never been a fan of Linkin Park (and thats putting it lightly), however I do like 'Faint' very much, and 'Numb' is growing on me. So I wouldn't exactly call it their "typical" fashion

EGGD, would you please quit the 'Black & White' attitude? Your opinion will only matter
TO YOU, it does not apply to anyone else -- that was my point. Your bias is kept you from turning the other cheek. Should I ask how did you came to this conclusion:
"
So, we're not allowed to have an opinion now?"
