AOL Or MSN Messenger?

What is the preferred choice here between the two. Today I just downloaded AOL Messenger but I always use the MSN one because most of MY friends have MSN? What about you people? What's so good about the AOL one? I seem to know the pros and Cons of MSN but not AOL!! And does anyone here still use the old ICQ?

Yahoo Messenger is actually my choice as a stand-alone program for instant messages.

However, AOL IM (not AIM or AIMEXPRESS) is my primary.

Both seem to have pros and cons. Ultimately what you use should be most convenient for talking with friends and new friends and aquaintences. I use both MSN and AIM and find them both useful in their own ways. They're pretty comparable just different.

I use Trillian, a program that allows you to connect to ICQ, AIM, MSN and Yahoo. I love it, works great!

I use both. Though I find MSN to be much easier to handle than AOL. MSN is also nicer to the eye.

Don't mention ICQ! I regret using it.

I've always like AIM. Although the new MSN 6 is just the best! MSN did a very good job with it and by far has the best features than any other IM program. My pick is MSN!

My favourite is yahoo, but not many people use it. Therefore, I use msn as I have far more people on my list there.

One thing I like about yahoo messenger is that you can login under the invisible mode.  Smile

AIM everyone my age uses it around here.

MSN. You can do way more things with it. AIM Gets kind of annoying all tho everyone that I know uses it just because everyone likes AOL. But when it comes to Instant message MSN is the best.

My vote goes for MSN. For reasons already mentioned (nicer to the eye, great features, etc). Excellent program.

Have both but prefer MSN, easier to send files over messaging and a lot of overseas friends have it..
Also agree on Trillian, very good especially the LOL sound.. hahaha..  Smile

I have always used MSN and found it to be the best all around IM program out there. I have recently begun using AIM and found it to be lacking in certain aspects. So my vote goes to MSN!

MSN 6.0 rocks.. AIM isn't bad... I had ICQ until a few weeks ago when I realized everyone on my ICQ list was on MSN or AIM now as well so i killed off ICQ.. Yahoo is satan
