It changes pretty often, but it is a general rotation of Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Willie, Robert Earl Keen, Bob Wills, and Charlie Robison. Long live real country music!

Keith Urban would have to be mine, though I don't often listen to Country. I am more of a Dance, Euro kinda guy.

Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, and Garth Brooks.

I especially like "Pancho and Lefty," the duet that Willie and Merle Haggard did together, and I also like "Seminole Wind," by John Anderson.

My band will probably cover "Pancho and Lefty" in our own sound, but we are still finding our style, then we will work at it, because we don't want to screw up the song.

Jerry Reed, Johnny Paycheck, Kenny Rogers and Johnny Cash.
Not sure if John Denver qualifies but it's close enough.

"Sweet Home Alabama" is by Lynard Skinard (Southern Rock).

I like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, but mostly I like certain country songs, as opposed to artists.

Most of y'all's picks are on my long list, too, but I am surprised nobody has mentioned George Jones, arguably the only 100% "true" country singer alive today. Regards...Jack

Indeed Texan. I was admiring your fine taste in quality Texas music. One of the very limited nice things about living in the NYC area is that those guys make a tour stop up hear at least once a year.

God bless Texas!

I like the Eagles, if that counts. And Lynard Skynard... The rest are much too into "pop" nowadays.

Have you guys ever heard of Old Crow Medicine Show? I hadn't until I was poking around the CMT website. You can listen to their entire album (called O.C.M.S) on cmt.com. It is really good stuff if you like bluegrassy type music.

Also, CMT has been playing an artist that I LOVE, but didn't think was country at all--Norah Jones.
