I hope for
U2's sake, this new record doesn't hit the internet! This reminds me about a situation back in 2000 when Journey's new album, 'Arrival' was leaked to Napster 6 months before it's scheduled release by Sony. Supposedly, someone from within Sony let an advance copy slip out of their hands. Whether or not it was intentional, is anyone's guess. Needless to say, curious fans downloaded the songs and didn't buy the record which ended up being a major disappointment for Journey. Subsequently, Sony did very little to promote 'Arrival' either, so Journey fired their asses! Ironically, Sony still continues to make money off of Journey's past catalog which sells amazingly well.
