Halloween Party. '80s Theme. Costume Ideas?

OK, let me preface this by stating that I'm FULLY aware of the abuse I'm setting myself up for.

My buddy DJ Darkwave is holding his annual Halloween party. Normally I wouldn't give a shit, but Darkwave's parties are the bomb. They are the absolute best parties I've ever seen. Dude has a huge old house with the top floor and high-ceiling finished attic dedicated to partydom. There is a :fog machine and built-in DJ booth in his attic!

Darkwave's parties are always jam-packed, and full of beautiful women who frequently wind up in extreme states of undress. There is a Bartender pouring from a fully-stocked bar. The beer never stops flowing, and there are various other mood altering substances everywhere (if you're into that sort of thing). A DJ (often Darkwave himself) spins classic '80s alternative and EBM or techno/industrial until 6am or so.

My point: This is the ONE party I'll really get in the spirit for.

Last year, the theme was pirates. This year, it's '80s. I love the '80s, but I cannot come up with a suitable costume idea. I want a costume that's not retardedly difficult to make (like K.I.T.T.), not difficult to drink and move around in (like Voltron), that'll still be identifiable. And no, not Robert Smith.

If you're going to go as a woman, get a Nolan Miller gown and go as either Crystal (Linda Evans) or Alexis (Joan Collins) from Dynasty.

Battle Star Galactica ran 78-79 season, so probably, There was that awful Gallactica 80 during the next year, but almost none of the original players where in it, Lorne Green being the only exception I know of.

Yeah, I don't recally anybody actually dying on that show either.

But then again, in the movie "First Blood" the first of the Rambo flicks and widely panned for it's violence, only one person actually died in that film, and that was because of his own stupidity.
