A Riddle

Mon Feb 28, 2005 2:26 am

See if you can figure out this riddle.

My friend likes a cake but doesn't like a pie, she likes a potato but doesn't like a carrot, likes a salad but doesn't like a lettuce, she likes a bagel but she doesn't like bread, she likes a banana but doesn't like a peach, she likes tuna but doesn't like fish.

What else would she like and dislike and what is the reason?

The reason she like the things she like is because it when the word alternates between a consonant and a vowel - like BaNaNa. She doesn't like words that have more than two consonants or vowels in a row like leTTuce.

Tuna is consonant/vowel, and fish has 2 consonants. How does that shoot it down?
