Hi

I`m a synthetic chemist originally from England, I work in a hospital in Quebec-Canada, making drugs to treat skin cancer.

It`s just like being a cook, you mix things (chemicals) together, heat them up. Thats it!

But I am in the selection process for the Police Service here.

I'm a deputy court clerk in the Great State of Arizona. During the afternoon and evening I work at a myriad of tasks which vary depending on the bi-monthly section assignment. Sometimes I'm working the Legal Records desk, collecting fees for copies and processing requests for files. This next period I'll be staffing the Domestic Violence desk, taking care of petitions for protective orders and doing the write ins for miscellaneous files (Probate, Guardianship, etc). Great benefits, works stays at work at the end of the night and sometimes the show is interesting.

I do a variety of things which ultimately make my boss(es) look good so they can take credit for it, even though they did very little or no actual work on any given project. Then I bang my head on my desk. Repeat as needed.

Well after 13 1/2 years as an Emergency Room Tech last year my health caught up with me and I moved up stairs to Labor and Delivery where I get to attend all the deliveries and sections, log the birth time, weight and other stats. The enter that data into the computer,

the other time is spent doing mindless data entry tasks and enjoy the benefit of being the only male non MD on the floor for 8+ hours a day. Some times I have to remind them "Hey there is a guy here"

I still miss the ER, but I think it woud have killed me If I stayed much longer
