Thanks guys - the scenery on this island is so incredible that someone that has no photographic skills at all (me) and can still produce great shots.

Lewis, that picture of AMS is amazing! Fisheye lense? At any rate, great pic!
Unfortunately, most of my good pics were taken pre-digital age....when I had my Canon EOS A2E. It's a bitch to have to scan the photos....not to mention the scanned ones often don't come out with very high quality. The pictures I posted were taken with my digital camera, vs. a scanner, since my scanner isn't working, which is probably some of the reason for the distortions. But, such is life.

Yeah its an 8mm Manual Fisheye I got for my 300D. I was so wasted that I couldn't hold the camera steady so I placed it on the bench right next to me and took the shot. It was a week ago actually.

Yeah tell me about it. I only use my film camera when I need full frame shots and I love it since its much faster and has more functions than my 300D. But to get decent results from the film scanner is hard.

Mt. Talyor is the highest peak in the area (but not the state) at 11, 301 feet above sea level. Photo taken looking northeast from highway NM53:
