Quoting Tbar220 (Reply 97):
"27 And God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them."

In this story, God created male and female at the same time.

It doesn't explicitly say so in that passage.

but about the god-part in this whole thing.

May I ask if you are Christian? Or a religious person?

I am neither... so maybe I should stay out of this kind of threads to avoid hurting someone's feelings.

OTOH I think expressing my doubts about god and the bible is legitimate, because everyone is entitled to his opinion. I hope I wasn't too offensive...

Clever decision.

Quoting ManuCH (Reply 98):
My being doubtful wasn't about your link or about the geological evidence, but about the god-part in this whole thing.

With all due respect, try to find the answer to your doubfullness in other fields [not in religion].
Best regards and good luck.

Tacaa320,
there's just one thing I don't understand: why do I need to shut up when I think that god doesn't exist (to approximate the concept), but everyone is entitled to have an opinion when they think that god does exist?

I mean, there are some things presented as facts in here, which aren't facts in my mind. Has politically correctness gone so far that I can't even express my opinion anymore, when we're talking about religion?

Am I allowed to say "I think that god does not exist"? If not, why are you allowed to say "I think that god exists"?

Do you think you have the right to be offended by the fact that someone thinks god doesn't exist? Well, then I have the exactly opposite right to be offended by someone who does believe in god. I'm sure you concur with me that both don't make any sense.

Think about it. And if you want to make this thread become (or remain?) pro-religion biased, I'm staying out of it. It's a pity, though: I thought a forum was about discussing things.
