Actually my grandparents on my father's side owned a cabin around that area. Unfortunately, they sold it when my father was still young.

That picture was taken back in May of this year, when my father and I went on a father and son road trip to spend some time together. We did some exploring and we found their old cabin.

The cabin you see in the picture next to our old one, which is left of the picture.

I'm planning to write a thread about that trip we took, including lots of pictures of that beautiful area of Colorado, and some of our old cabin. I'll have it up soon, so look for it in a few days.

Now that I am living and going to school in Oxford, this is my current vehicle:

But in Los Angeles, I've got my baby...2000 Volkswagen Jetta GLS VR6, black leather, 5-speed manual transmission, green domelights, CH sticker on the back.

Here she is sitting in the Topanga highlands:
http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b174/airliban/Jetta/DSC00911.jpg

Here I am driving it on the most miserable day of my recent life, the misery of that day has plagued me ever since:

And here is a long exposure shot of the dash on my second to last night in LA:

Not MY car but it looks exactly the same.
2000 Ford Focus ZX3 with a 5-speed manual and the 130 HP Zetec 4-cylinder engine. I have a LEHIGH UNIVERSITY sticker in the back window, and CH and "GREECE" stickers.
http://www.mchang.org/albums/BenFocus/images/side_jpg.jpg

My inside is the same except I don't have the blue on my seats and the center console where the air conditioning controls are has a fake, silver metallic finish.

On the highway I could get as high as 15 MPG. But in the streets were I do almost all my driving 11.5mpg would be the best. Maybe 12mpg on a good day.

I drive a 2001 Toyota RAV4. Anice little car that I bought this past summer when my f#@king '96 Chevy Blazer decided that it was time to keel over and die (the tranny went south on me). Since I drive this thing mostly on I-5 between Tacoma and Seattle, I average about 26 mpg, but on pure highway driving, I can get up to 30 mpg.

I wrote jetBlue and asked them to sell a jetBlue one on their website store, and they said they are didn't sell them. AA is actually my favorite airline, but kinda like the sound of calling it jetBlue. On the back window, there is a 6 inch x 6 inch decal of the Boeing logo I had made. So really, It's a Boeing, flying for American, on a jetBlue codeshare!  Wink
