What hotels do you guys recommend?

Bewleys is very nice. Have stayed there for the Meets on the past 2 years. Think it was £70 for a room last year, so if you can share it'll be £35 per person per night.

SAS Raddisson is very swish, with some rooms having apron views, but is about £100 per room per night.

How about the Moat House Hotel (Holiday Inn). It is the hotel a walking distance from the spots at the south side, so better light for sure. Of course those spots are just about the only thing this place is close too.  Wink

Anyone with any sense will fly BE on those fares! You won't even get free food on BA by then (do i sound like Orion?). And those turbocharged Dash 8 Q400's operated by BE are a really nice ride. Will this be your first flight from your native SOU which I remember you wishing for a while ago??

OK then, not the Moat House. It looked kind a nice from the outside, but when you stay at the Britannia airport hotel ANYTHING looks nice. So the Britannia airport hotel is a definite no.

Doesn't it state that the Premier hotel is almost 2 miles from the airport? Bewleys is a litlle more expensive with SAS Rad even more so, but both are 5 mins walk from the terminals, with no busy roads/motorways to contend with. Don't really know the Premier, does the value for money go hand in hand with convenience?
