Any weekend is good for me. I've booked all the weekends off at work, cos I'll bound to be rostered to work the weekend the meet is chosen to be on. I can hire a car if I don't have mine by the time the meet comes round.

Cutting and harsh (but funny Big grin)

Well, of course there is always the hourly bus which runs from the MAN bus station to the AVP if things got desparate. However, a car is really needed to get southside where some of the best viewing is to be had (away from the common folk.  Wink)

However, the way things are going at this early stage it looks like we could be ok at moving people around without needing to hire an official A.Net MPV this year! Big grin Early days though, but I'm sure we can tweak the finer details as we go along.

Well, progress at least. Only the first few miscellaneous bits and pieces had arrived when I was last at the AVP in July. Hopefully, as the daylight starts to increase more work can be done. Would love it to be completed by the summer!

The TPS were saying that they were doing interior work first, then major stuff when the weather and light improves. Which makes sense really. Working outside in the dark isn't the easiest way to snap a trident together.

1st/2nd, 8th/9th, 15th/16th, 29th/30th.

I think the 1st/2nd July has now been provisionally arranged (as per general consensus/TFSPhoto's attendance link) though I'm sure this can still be re negotiated if required until people start booking flights. So far, 8/9th is no good for Noel, 15/16th is Fairford and 22/23 is Farnborough.

Of course, GKirk can't make it unless it's in August (you spending the whole of July in Turkey or something?), but that seems to be boosting numbers for July.  Wink

So perhaps people should start saying if they have a problem with July 1st/2nd (GKirk noted) and if so, advise of a possible alternative date which may suit everyone else?

I forgot Gkirk was going to Turkey in July. What date are you going Kirkie? I'll warn my parents to change their holiday, just in case you leave no alcohol in the country for them to consume. Poor buggers probably won't make it back, they're flying OHY on a A300  Sad I just hope they've made their will out.
