Amazing! I went to boarding school in Edinburgh for 6 years and I think the Scots only beat the French once in that time! I guess my prediction of France winning the 6 Nations has quickly come undone, but I'm glad I was wrong.

Absolutely fantastic display by Scotland.

I thought that if Scotland were going to win (and I gave them barely a prayer) they'd do it by stuffing the ball up their jumpers and whacking over penalty after penalty. Instead they played with verve and flair, and thoroughly outplayed France.

Every time someone suggests the Six Nations is going to be devalued with England and France pulling away, results like this happen - and long may they continue to do so!

good one - sets up the Championship nicely - I'll be at Scotland v England, France v England in Paris and I'll be in attendance at the Ireland game at Twick at the end of March.... maybe England playing for the GS?

then again, some pesky nation has a habit of shoving a spanner in the works just when it looks in the bag - so I won't count all my chicks just yet. Plus the French will be a tough proposition in Paris..... bring em on!

Only in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002. So not that often.  grumpy   Wink
