My two favourite albums right now:
Nashville by Josh Rouse
...And The Glass Handed Kites by Mew.

Quoting BNE (Reply 5):
Complicated Avril Lavigne

Quoting Pawsleykat (Reply 28):
Avril Lavigne - (So much for) My Happy Ending.

Avril scores twice in one thread! I really like her music and I think she's supernaturally cute.

Quoting Sabena332 (Reply 13):
Bruce Springsteen - Lonesome day

The Rising is a phenomenal album and my two favourite tracks are Lonesome Day and Words Apart.

Quoting JAGflyer (Reply 44):
Coldplay - Speed of Sound

Yes yes but isn't it just a direct lift of Reap The Wild Wind by Ultravox?

Quoting Smokescreen (Reply 49):
Downloaded "Destroy Rock & Roll" by Mylo this morning to listen to on the way work, wasn't too impressed - expected more pop hooks and less club beats.

Loads of pop hooks!

Quoting Smokescreen (Reply 49):
Back to the Saint Etienne I guess.

...but Saint Etienne are the best, have you got the DVD of Finisterre, their film about London? Or even the soundtrack, which is their best album?

Well, Enter is a first class album. They've rather lost it since getting rid of the male vocals I think.

Otherwise, great music taste you've got there, welcome to my RU list. Big grin

Bwaaaaaahaha, those were the days! The good old 90's where we have danced on the tables to Rednex, Captain Jack and so on  tongue  And eventough I was pretty young during the 90's the 90's music is the one that I still consider "my" music...

Topic:

Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo - Stars

The Connells - '74-'75
Captain Jack - Drill Instructor
Mr. President - Coco Jambo

Thanks Thomas, and likewise welcome to mine Wink

Enter is deffinatly their best album; Candles, Restless, and Enter are just superb tracks. They have turned a lot more 'poppy' since then, but a couple of their more recent songs are still excellent; Say My Name, Jillian and Stand My Ground.

Currently listening to;
