I got onto NZ2 and found myself seated next to my (then) PA's sister's best mate.

no , but a former colleague of mine bumped into the same person in 3 different continents in the space of just over 2 1/2 years - they met the person for the first time in a youth hostel in Brazil , the following year they were walking in opposite directions along the same street in Hanoi and a little over 18 months later walked into a bar in Durban ... and guess who was already seated at the bar ... very weird

In November at the ATL airport, I ran into RL757PVD. He was someone with whom I had a class with at my university, but I didn't know he too was an A.netter until we had talked for a while!

My family was driving through northern New Mexico. I looked at a passing car and saw it had a bumper sticker from the school I attended at the time. We caught up with it and found it was Father Maceo, one of the pastors at the church.

Another time, in Colorado, we were getting ready to climb Mt. Shavano, signed in, and one of my brothers classmates had signed in not an hour before us  Silly

My dad used to be a bank manager, so knows a lot of people. We have met people in rural France, Tenerife, Cyprus and notably, in the queue for Fire/Ice at Universal World of Adventures in Florida.

I had AvianceGirlUK as stewardess on a recent flight from MAN. I see a theme here.

I ended up on an educational to MCO with none other than OzVirginUK.

Dunno how we discovered we were both A.netters.

The first time I was in Hong Kong, I walk out of the Ritz headed toward the Star Ferry Terminal and literally bumped into a friend from high school who had his head down in a map as he too had just arrived to the SAR. What are the odds?

Reading the report of that trip - I don't think there was any chance he'd get the winning smile from AvianceGirl anyway!

Ehh, not on a flight or in a city or even face to face...

But I'm on a danish debating forum... I started talking to one of the member, and as I brought up the fact that i was on JP.net, she asked me who I was there...

turned out her husband is a senior screener there

That was quite a coincidence. I can't remember how we discovered the A.net connection....
