Muse To Play At The Quart Festival...

Fri Feb 24, 2006 3:18 am

...and I don't give a rats, because TOOL are coming aswell. Big grin Big grin Big grin

I have to get tickets for this event. The band cancelled the last time they were sceduled to play in Norway, back in 2002. Instead I ended up seeing Iggy Pop.

Not quite what I had in mind...

So this was great news to me. A Bonus is that Opeth are coming too, as are Enslaved. And people claim the line up for the festival sucks this year. Hmpf.

Good luck finding the "In English" buttom...  Smile

Pardon my ignorance, but despite having 2 daughters, I've never heard of Muse apart from on this forum.
Would a GOG like me appreciate them?
Can someone post a link to their music?

I would think so. It's the kind of bland Britpop represented by a whole plethora of bands that anyone under the age of about 20 thinks that their generation invented - and that you think sounds exactly like Beatles/Stones/Kinks/Small Faces/Who/Yardbirds/Jam/Clash* (delete as appropriate depending on band) but get told how it's "Sooooo different, and you don't understand 'cos you're old and not in tune with the youth of today and I wish I'd never been born and it's all your fault and I hate you".  grumpy   old   Wink

Well, I guess that means we can count them in for Roskilde Festival too (both Roskilde & Quart shares a number of artists)  duck

And since we're also being teased about Morrissey, I'm predicting one mother of a mud-bath once again Big grin
