Quoting S12PPL (Thread starter): A good early season test for Georgia as they travel to South Carolina. Can SC shock Georgia?? I think so. |
Quoting MD-90 (Reply 1): Georgia's gonna thump USC. |
Quoting Lumberton (Reply 6): nly in a dream. Texas by 3. |
Quoting Falcon84 (Reply 8): There's no Vince Young this year, who was a one-man game-changer. |
Quoting S12PPL (Thread starter): Oregon State going to Boise State |
Quoting USAFHummer (Reply 7): My Buffs will bounce back from last week's humiliating embarrassment, and will trounce archrival CSU |
Quoting GuitrThree (Reply 10): Please remind us Titans Fan's about Mr. Youngs game-changing ability, because we haven't seen it anywhere around Nashville yet!!!! |
Quoting Boston92 (Reply 13): This is the year of the Irish!! |
Quoting JetJock22 (Reply 14): They are gonna have to do ALOT better than winning 14-10 over an unranked team if it is gonna be the year of the Irish. I think Brady Quinn's Heisman hopes got flushed down the toilet last weekend. |
Quoting Longhornmaniac (Reply 15): From past experiences, Ted Ginn usually goes pretty quiet when he faces a good, fast defense |
Quoting Longhornmaniac (Reply 15): The OSU defense had more holes in it than swiss cheese |
Quoting Senorcarnival (Reply 5): Just for kicks... Georgia @ S. Carolina Without research, I'm picking S. Carolina. This just smells like upset to me, much like a 3-14 seed game in the NCAA Tournament. |
Quoting JetJock22 (Reply 14): I think Brady Quinn's Heisman hopes got flushed down the toilet last weekend. |
Quoting CasInterest (Reply 18): I'll go with the pick, but this is more of a 9-8 game than a 13-4 seeder |
Quoting Copaair737 (Reply 20): How can anyone say that the 'Horns are going to whip OSU's ass??? |
Quote: If there was going to be an asswhipping, it would have been last year, with Vince Young. |
Quote: This year, the tOSU* defense is tough, and they have Ted Ginn and Troy Smith, as well as some good RB's in Pittman and Wells. |
Quoting MD-90 (Reply 1): Bah, I don't. Georgia's gonna thump USC. |
Quoting AirCop (Reply 27): You are aware that this isn't Ohio State and that Ohio University has been one of the doormats of the MAC, while NIU been in the top half of the MAC the last few years with wins over Maryland, Alabama etc. |
Quoting S12PPL (Reply 28): You have waaaaaaaaay too much time on your hands |
Quoting S12PPL (Thread starter): A good early season test for Georgia as they travel to South Carolina. Can SC shock Georgia?? I think so. That'll be my pretty big upset call of the week. |
Quoting S12PPL (Thread starter): The early game this week is Oregon State going to Boise State for the final game of the four game series between the two. Oregon State looked very impressive week one against Eastern Washington. Boise State also thumped Sacramento State. I think OSU has more depth, and wins going away 28-17. |
Quoting AirCop (Reply 12): Close game could go either way..Will the Beavers be able to handle a blue field? |
Quoting Travelin man (Reply 30): UCLA over Rice. |
Quoting JetJock22 (Reply 17): See last years Fiesta Bowl, Notre Dame vs. Ohio State. |
Quoting Senorcarnival (Reply 36): Did Oregon change their colors to black, white and orange overnight? |
Quoting QXatFAT (Reply 26): Notre Dame vs Penn State: Penn State Ohio State vs Texas: Ohio State |
Quoting Longhornmaniac (Reply 37): ND was not a good defense. |
Quoting S12PPL (Thread starter): Penn State travels to South Bend to face Notre Dame. This could be a great game. I think Penn State hangs close, but loses in the 4th quarter. Notre Dame 24, Penn State 14. |
Quoting Longhornmaniac (Reply 15): We'll talk after PSU. |
Quoting Boston92 (Reply 16): You say unranked, I see a team that is really good that everyone looks past. GT is a great team. USC almost lost to Fresno St last year. |
Quoting JetJock22 (Reply 17): And Boston92, GT is a great team. I just thought ND would have come out alot tougher than they did. |
Quoting NDSchu777 (Reply 21): Well if he continues to play like that the rest of the season, but he's definitely not out of the race. The performances in the late season games and overall season stats have the biggest impact on the Heisman voting. Based on Brady's performance last year, the GT game was definitely an off-day for him. And if an off-day involves passing for 246 yards, completing over 60% of his passes, and not throwing any interceptions, that doesn't throw him out of the race. We just have to see if Quinn can perform more like we know he can and then improve some. |
Quoting Planespotting (Reply 22): Notre Dame loses |
Quoting QXatFAT (Reply 26): Notre Dame vs Penn State: Penn State |
Quoting Ordryan28 (Reply 39): Irish-27, Penn State-13 |
Quoting Lumberton (Reply 40): Notre Dame vs Penn State: Penn State Ohio State vs Texas: Ohio State PSU? NO I wish you were right about Penn State. I don't think it'll happen. |
Quoting Lumberton (Reply 40): ND was not a good defense. WAS That was last year. They looked pretty good against G.T. Defense kept ND in the game. |
Quoting Texan (Reply 41): Penn State over ND 23-17 |
Quoting MD-90 (Reply 1): Bah, I don't. Georgia's gonna thump USC. |
Quoting Srbmod (Reply 31): An interesting story is the the possibility of Joe Tereshinski being upstaged by freshman backup Matthew Stafford, |
Quoting QXatFAT (Reply 46): AHHHHHHH my Bulldogs lost to Oregon! But by a touchdown again. Past 6 meetings before tonight were won by an average of 3 points. You can always count on a good game if you play Fresno State. You must admit that. |
Quoting Boston92 (Reply 44): Quoting NDSchu777 (Reply 21): Well if he continues to play like that the rest of the season, but he's definitely not out of the race.
