Wow, Michigan has been doing damn well against the Great Notre Dame. I know it is early, but it has been an impressive performance.

I've never liked UND, and hell, I'm Catholic! I don't care this (no pun intended) "holier-than-thou" attitude that comes across; or the fact they have their own football network; that when they're only decent, pollsters and the media annoint them as a great team.

I have immense respect for Coach Weis, and think they have the Domers on the right track, but they're certainly not a Top 5 team right now.

Look, the Golden Domers do play a tough schedule, but they escaped in their first game, beat an overrated Penn State team the 2nd game, and Lloyd Carr and co. handed it to them in this game. Quinn is a decent QB, but he is way too inconsistent. The defense has big holes. Quinn made some pretty poor throws against Penn State as well but was bailed out by horrible coverage by the defensive backs and linebackers.

However, on the basis of being fair, a Michigan joke:

You are wrong, my fellow a.netter. Michigan actually has a good defense, and puts up a good challenge as he would face in a bowl game, or the NFL, if he ever gets there. The same thing happened to Colt McCoy last week end. Everyone was talking about him and how good he is, and then good old OSU shut him down.

Lets face the facts: Notre Dame has six sure wins left on the schedule (Army, Navy, Air Force, North Carolina, Stanford and Purdue) that would leave them at worse with 8 wins, and should they beat Michigan State (somehow they always have a problem with these guys) that would be 9 somehow I guessing that they will end up high enough in the polls to get a decent bowl, although not Glendale, AZ this year.
Question: Is Notre Dame playing for the Commander-In-Chief trophy? Perhaps they can schedule the Coast Guard Academy also?

To the Fighting Irish clan, listen up: because of your holier-than-thou attitude (as clearly evidenced by Ordryan28's post #24,) you are under close scrutiny all the time. For what my opinion is worth, I gave credit to ND when they beat PSU last week, but rowdy or unrowdy student section or whatever excuse you decide to throw our way, you got owned by Michigan in your own backyard. first off, the Michigan fan was the one who started with me. while all the students were filing out after the closing hym by the band, there was a michigan fan who decided to take his shirt off and say "hey, douchebags, scoreboard" and i retaliated from there. i stick up for my school, i have school spirit, and make a valiant effort daily to represent my school the way it should be. and you say it psychyed me out-he was the one who ran away, pal.
