Geek Question: PKI Using Active Directory On A MAN

Tue Nov 07, 2006 5:05 am

Trying my luck here. The title says pretty much all about my question : how is it possible to deploy a PKI using Active Directory on a MAN? Some say it is very tough, amost impossible, others say it's routine. Not being an expert in networking, I need some help.

Could anybody give me some info and, ideally, some resources on this?

Thanks in advance.

Whoa, stop with the unneeded acronyms  Smile

PKI = Public Key Infrastructure
MAN = Metro Area Network (essentially no different to Wide Area Network in this case)

Why not see how Microsoft did it themselves -
