The sculptor is Percy Metcalfe and he's modelling a "Lion of Industry". These were displayed at the 1924 "British Empire Exhibition" held at Wembley. He also produced a smaller version of the lion for the Ashtead Potters

Yuppp... plus UPS doesn't have 777s.

So, what is it?

X-ray diffraction rings (of ice to be specific), I put it on a few days ago it is getting to me so I changed it today to something less psycodelic, a nice view of the Southern Alps near Prebbleton a few months ago.

Right now my desktop pic is a photo of two friends and I at a concert last night. Usually I have a plane (from here), but I vary it when I have a cool pic to put on of my own. I normally change my pic every couple of days, depending on how much I like the one I have on.

Diamond, is that an airliners.net shot? I like that.

Yes, it is a shot from a.net. However the original image is cropped closer to the plane. So I added some additional sky and ground (photoshop) so that I'd have room for the icons on my desktop.

There are some amazing photos being used as screen shots. Carmel and that red sunrise picture looks fantastic.

I currently have this one. It changes every few minutes.
