No, I don't want a list of "songs that are up there". Put on your thinking cap for a few minutes, go over it in your mind, and tell us YOUR all-time favorite song.

I can't really reply then, because...

Alles aus Liebe - Die Toten Hosen

That's my all time number 1. There are other ones in the list, but most of them I haven't heard them in a while because they're 80's songs from my childhood, of which I hardly remember their titles.

seriously though, that songs the trashiest bit of pop to ever come out of the bay area. no offense though dude, just my opinion -- i kind of liked it like everyone else when it came out (in my defense though, i was a freshman in high school and had very poor taste in music).

Oh geez...do I pick Jackson Browne, Marshall Tucker Band, or The Allman Brothers? Ok, it'll be Marshall Tucker. But is it "Heard It in a Love Song" or "Everyday (I Have the Blues)?" I'll go with "Heard It in a Love Song." I just like that song too damn much.

"Eve of Destruction" - Barry Maguire

Kind of funny how that was written back in the sixties and if you listen to the lyrics, it is like he wrote it yesterday.

Funny, because on Tool's own web site they refer to it as Lateralus (http://www.toolband.com/album/index.html and click on the cover). Not only that, but on their message board it is always referred to as Lateralus. Seems the band itself and all its fans are making a "grave error."

Tracklisiting on the album itself says Lateralis.

The albums sold here that I've seen have all said "Laterlais", but as you say, the Tool page refers to it as Lateralus. Must have been a slip up somewhere...

Awww, that's one of my favorites too! For a multitude of reasons, but mainly this one -- I walked outside of my hostel one morning in Dublin and I had my iPod on shuffle...it was a really awesome morning...sunny and no rain and no clouds! And then this song came on while I was thinking "what a beautiful day!"

corny, I know, but this is what I saw:
