It does and does. I found a $20 bill in the parking ramp while leaving. It's a hell of a buzz (and one hell of an appetite suppressant).

$10 for cat-crap coffee?

Thank you, but I'll stick to Nabob. Now that stuff is worth the $5.00 a can.

so yes. we could have donated $20 (plus tax) to .... the children! or something like that. but we didn't. instead we got two cups of coffee. and i must say ... two *DAMN* good cups of coffee.

who would have thought that one of the two locations in the U.S. to enjoy "the world's most foremost coffee delicacy" would be available ... at Sears?

definitely the softer side, if you ask me.

but yes, as i said .... *DAMN* good cup of coffee. cheers to the children.

we arrive.

here they are.

he's reading the sign *ONE* more time

"i'm drinking shit?"

this is the most romantic coffee date, ever.

all finished.

It's a family coffee shop that rents space from Sears. The employee that waited on us said that she hates working weekends because they're swamped with business.

couple of reasons. the biggest one being that i wouldn't have gotten to Las Vegas until 6pm and I would have gone straight to the Stevie Nicks show at Caesar's Palace. there's no way in hell i would have missed Stevie Nicks. i'm overseeing a special report production and have to be back in Iowa that afternoon. i would have had to have flown out at like 7am on Sunday. it just wasn't worth the turn. and then on Monday i'm scheduled to have my taxes cheated ... i mean done, and i really need to get some spring cleaning caught up and what not ... i'm still picking up the pieces from moving and what not ... tying up loose ends, etc. in April i am traveling on every single one of my days off ... i'm due in MSP again (haaaaaaayyyyyy), St. Louis twice, and need to run back home. and i also have to prepare for May sweeps. so those three times i am making it so that i dont have to worry about grocery shopping, cleaning my apartment, paying my bills, etc. i'm getting it all done 6 weeks out.

Quoting KaiGywer (Reply 22):

i left at 3pm sharp today and was back in Des Moines at 6pm. not too shabby, eh?

don't worry, i'll be back. if you wanna have a MSP day at the mall, that can be arranged.

Amazing how much a drink costs these days. I remember being outraged at 75 cent pop. I remember seeing $1 pop at PVD in 1990 and being amazed. I just don't get exotic coffee. I'll take my Thomas (from St. Louis, MO.) any day.

Joke 'em if they can't take a fuck. Ummm. Whatever. I call it pop everywhere I go.

What bugs me are people who think all pop is Coke. They'll ask something like, "What kind of Coke y'all want?" And I reply, "I hate Coke. I want Mountain Dew." And they give me this weird look like I'm the one that's fucked in the head.

You and me both.

A girl at my school asked me to buy her a Coke, I greatly obliged (I pray to God my girlfriend never reads these forums), bought her a Coca-Cola. She says "no, I don't want that! I want the other stuff!" What other stuff, I ask. "THAT stuff" and she points to a Pepsi.

D'oy!

When I went to school at Central Missouri State University most of the students were from Kansas City and were pop drinkers. The St. Louis people were soda (sodie if from southern Missouri) . I always said soda-pop to avoid any controversy. Here in Detroit it is pop.

I moved to St. Louis, from Denver, when I was a freshman in high school. On the first day of school I asked a guy I saw in the hall where the pop machine was. He looked at me like I was a idiot. I said "you know, Pepsi, Coke, 7up. He was "oh yea, it is over that way. We always called it pop at my house. Mom and Dad are from Pittsburgh and it is pop there.

I like just about all colas. Coke, Pepsi, RC, Faygo, Vess. etc. Each is different and I like them all. I never liked Mountain Dew, Jolt, Nitro, or any other high caffeine soda-pop As far as white soda-pops go I like 7up, Sprite, and Bubble Up ( I have not seen that in a long time).

My dad loves Pay Days bars. Never liked them myself, but if I was coming home late, and or drunk, in high school. I knew dad would bitch, I would stop and get him two Pay Days at a gas station and he was happy and wouldn't yell as much.
