Sometimes odd ideas come from odd places. The topic of firing ranges at airports came up in the Mosin Nagant thread and I started to think about other odd things I've seen at airports over the years. so here we go with a few more:
Moton Field(Tuskegee) - The University has a research facility that does work on all sorts of diseased animals. It used to be fun to tell first jump students "Don't land in this area unless you want to be mauled by a diseased lion." Seriously, if you flew over the facility you would often hear lions roaring.
Roosevelt Field(Warm Springs, GA) - The FBO used to be a converted work release center, kind of a creepy cinder block building with heavy doors and almost no windows. I haven't been there for a long time so don't know if it's still around.
If the mods want to move this to Civ Av that's fine with me, it's kind of a grey area subject where it's hard to decide which is correct.
Let's see some good ones, this should be entertaining.

This past December, an AA flight from SFO-DFW, diverted to AUS. They waited on the ramp for 9+ hrs. I drove a tug over to where they had several a/c staged on the MX apron.
There were animals on board several flights, and the two AA pilots were walking around three dogs on the grass, letting them do their business and stretch their legs. It was great to see them doing this for the dogs, but very unusual!

Shocking! I will say that although my last DL flight was late, they did an equipment change in ATL that was shockingly fast. Everybody plus all bags in ~ 45 minutes. It was nice to actually see some hustle from them.

That's different, I've seen lesbians on a leash in an ice cream shop in Key West and had an interesting encounter with a transvestite TSA insector at DEN but the combination is unusual.
When I started the thread, I was thinking of more permanent things, something that anybody could potentially go to the airport and find but this is fun. I'll add a few more along the lines of what you and Gavin threw in:
Naked skydives in Hinckley, IL in February(about 5 degrees on the ground) I got to spot the 182 and was really tempted to put the idiots out over downtown Aurora but was too nice a guy to do it.
Seeing a DC-3 with a blown jug and smoke going everywhere land at Lodi on the approach over the freeway. He was super low over the semis on the road and one truck driver looked like he was going to have a heart attack - very shocked.
One spring where we filled up the bulletin board at Sylacauga airport with pictures of Tornadoes that went through the airport property. Luckily they all stayed away from the aircraft(and people).

Yes to all of the above but I suspect the sex was a little different than what you may have seen. Also, I've seen it in a lot of different places on the airport property, i.e. out between the runways, on the beacon tower, etc.

Brown and Black Bears, Moose, Caribou, Porcupine.
A grass runway that had it's perimeter marked out with pieces of wrecked aircraft.

Oh, and then there was the time that an Electra landed right before a white-out hit. It was sitting on the ramp, 250 feel from me, all motors turning, every landing light on and pointed right at me, and I couldn't see the damm airplane. Could here it, but it only became visible about 150 feet away.

Three times on a TWA AMS-JFK flight an f/a had to bang on the lav doors to stop people from smoking pot in there. On the ground, all of the offenders passed right through immigration and customs without any bother. No cops to meet the plane, nothing. On another flight, same airline, same route, the woman sitting next to me asked if I thought her sticking her stash "up there" would be sufficient to not get caught. I answered, "that's a dark and scary place *I'd* never go, so if you get the right agent, you'd probably be okay."
