Yes, a real shame when he had so much more to live for.

I was listening to the radio this morning as the news was announced and I found it somehow bordering on tactless to have a string of his friends/colleagues phoned up and asked to air their feelings and memories. There's a time and place, but I don't think national radio in the rush to get the story out and the soundbite is it.
