Girl At Work Related Question..Please He;p.

Sun Oct 28, 2007 7:29 am

Ok, at my work, I have this girl who now I am friends with and we email each other at work and at home constantly and we talk to each other too. Before and now, she has mentioned that she has a boyfriend and now she is moving out of town. Well, next week, I invited her to take her out for wine and a bar and she has agreed to that.

Even we mentioned that we would visit each other and she said IM welcome to....

Now...2 things...either her boyfriend is not a jealous type..or...they must of agreed on that they can have friends with either girls or either guys...thats possible.

This first started at work, because when I first started (at work) she was there but we never communicated this close as then before and things got closer with us as far as communicating. And everyday or so, she the first to email me (at work) to ask how am I and so on. and we just email each other back and forth. We talk about her interests and mine.

Now, sometimes I would get mad at her and ignore her...But sometimes every morning or whatever time, she intitiates the email....

Now, the question....does this girl (even she mentions that she has a boyfriend) has a crush on me???

Please I need someones input on this as Im very confused....

sorry to burst your bubbles, not the best place to get this sort of help. I started my own call for help when I joined, I took the advice here and I almost went to Jail  Big grin

She might just have a wandering eye. Be careful though man. I got involved with a girl one night and the next morning I was enlightened to the fact that she had a boyfriend in thr USMC over in Asia and he was coming home in a few weeks.

Eep, this can't be good. Either she's just a truly outgoing, friendly person (  checkmark  ), or she is certainly leading you on.. Maybe the skies with her boyfriend are a bit turbulent?

Stay as far away from this girl as you can until she gets rid of her current boyfriend (if she even does). The only person that will be hurt if things continue further is you. It's obvious that you see her as more of a possible girlfriend type. Until you can see her as just a friend you need to stay away. Girls with boyfriends - off limits unless you can just be friends.

It could be that the boyfriend doesn't know anything about you guys talking everyday and you inviting her to dinner, than of course and it's obvious that she wants something else and yeah she hides this sort of stuff from her boyfriend.

Or this could be the case, open relationships exist.

The point here is, do a little research and have a bit of respect even if she doesn't.

These things are the sort of smoke and mirrors that women employ to keep a power distance, there is no boyf, there never was, its just to keep you on the boil until she figures out if she can trust you.

I'll bet she is an astrological water sign and no matter what the circumstances she is manipulating you, your emotions and your mental state.

RUN WARDAILER, RUN, YOU DO HAVE TO BE AFRAID!!!!!

Relationships that start with confusion and powerplay will never work unless you are as fucked-up as they are, if you want a straight-up relationship I would strongly urge you to choose another woman, fake your own death, cancel the drinks and flee for the hills...I mean it dude....

It's to do with a stalker-ish member a few years back. I'm sure some one will fill you in. I don't know the full details myself, but its to do with a fligh tracking system and a christmas gift which was a snowglobe I think...

Stay as friends and proceed no further. She probably does have a crush on you, but then again likes you a lot as a friend and wants you to be one of her best friends.

If she dumps her current boyfriend/current boyfriend dumps her, and if you are still interested in her, give it at least 6 weeks before making a move.

Hi,

This might sound kinda depressing but I worry for something like this:

You become good friends with this girl, always hoping for something more. She begins to break up with her boyfriend. You are still friends. They break up. You start seeing her on her own and both spend lots of time together, but one night you go out and get drunk and some frat asshole starts hitting on her and she goes home with him for the night. And then the next morning she phones you up and still wants to be friends.

This is the kinda shit that women pull! Yes I might be pessimistic but remember your situation might be bad but it can always be worse!

(Hope it wasn't too depressing, helped a little),

P.
